ScamSmart Tech keeps your information private. We collect only what we need to run Scam Watch, and we never sell it.

Who we are

ScamSmart Tech is a business of GoTopLevelPro, LLC, 8703 New Forest Dr., Wilmington, NC 28411. When this page says "we" or "us," it means ScamSmart Tech. You can reach us at mitch@scamsmarttech.com.

What we collect

• What you give us when you join: your first name, last name, email address and country.

• Payment details: your card is entered on a secure form run by Stripe, our payment company. We never see or store your full card number.

• What you send us: emails you write to us and questions you ask during a live Q&A.

• Basic activity: whether you open or click our emails, and basic details our website collects automatically, like the type of device and browser you use.

How we use it

• To give you what you paid for: weekly videos, Watch Alerts, printables and live Q&A invitations.

• To process payments, send receipts and handle refunds or cancellations.

• To answer your questions.

• To see which lessons are most helpful, so we can make them better.

We do not use your information to make decisions about you, and we do not sell, rent or trade it to anyone.

Who else sees it

We share information only with the services that help us run Scam Watch, and only what each one needs:

• Systeme.io hosts our website, our checkout and our emails.

• Stripe processes payments.

• Zoom runs the monthly live Q&A.

• Google Workspace holds our business email.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

Live Q&A recordings

The monthly Zoom Q&A is recorded, and the recording is shared with Scam Watch members. If you join, your name, voice and camera image may appear in the recording. You can keep your camera off, use your first name only, or send questions ahead of time by email instead.

Emails and unsubscribing

As a member, you get Scam Watch emails as part of your subscription. Every email has an unsubscribe link. If you unsubscribe while still paying, you will stop receiving the lessons, so we recommend cancelling instead (see our Terms).

Cookies

Our website uses small files called cookies so pages and the checkout work properly. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site may not work.

Keeping it safe

We use trusted services with strong security, and we limit who can see your information. No system is perfect, but we work to protect what you share with us.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email mitch@scamsmarttech.com. We will reply within 30 days. We may keep some records, like payment history, when the law requires it.

Children

Scam Watch is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change is important, we will email members.
